Taking a server offline, changing its IP and wiping its disk are different actions. Read the preview before confirming. A shutdown disconnects sessions and cancels affected work; it is not a way to pause an attack and keep every benefit.
Emergency shutdown
Available through Hardware without a security subscription, once per 24 hours per server. It forces a five-minute reboot that console bonuses cannot shorten. During that time the server cannot perform ordinary game actions; status, messages, settings and support remain accessible.
Its external vSpam, Warez and Miner installations lose their controller and self-destruct after 60 seconds. Collection is blocked from the shutdown's start, and uncollected earnings are lost. The preview separates estimated game-dollar and BTC losses. If the affected installations change, review a fresh preview.
Your IP, local files and foreign infections on your machine remain. External DDoS and Doom installations, already credited funds and logs on other servers are not removed by this sacrifice.
Holiday mode
Holiday mode takes your server offline for up to seven days and is available once every 30 days. You can return early using the restart control; returning does not reset the holiday cooldown, and the minimum initial shutdown time still applies. The server returns when the selected period expires.
Holiday mode has the same income-virus sacrifice as an emergency shutdown. A shutdown imposed by an administrator instead requires administrator release and does not trigger that sacrifice.
Full disk reset
A full reset removes local files, installed software, logs and downloaded apps. It keeps external disks, hardware and bank funds. Back up what you need first. Collective leaders can reset their collective server. A reset does not create fresh security cooldowns or a free subscription week.
IP changes
Use the ISP's offered IP-change service and review its cost and wait. A normal IP reset changes your address, invalidates connections and deactivates virus installations on that server. It does not wipe your disk or erase every historical trace. Check Connections, Hardware and Security Center for the relevant status afterward.
