TERMINAL REBELS / WIKI

Desktop and settings

Your desktop brings the game apps together. Open them from the launcher and keep several windows side by side. Interwebs is your browser inside the game; your real browser's address bar is separate.

Keep your workspace

Move, resize and minimize windows to arrange your workspace. Closing a window does not cancel a running task or disconnect a remote server. Check the Task Manager and Connection Manager when you want to stop something.

The desktop offers Kali and Windows themes. In the terminal, choose Kali or PowerShell commands, with a normal or simplified mode. Changing presentation does not create a different character or inventory.

Make it yours

Settings contain the language and notification options. You can enable a sound when an action finishes and test its volume; your browser may need a click before it allows audio. The mail indicator shows unread messages. The network indicator gives quick access to your own game IP.

Premium adds a custom background upload. The Tutorial remains available for rereading, and Help opens this guide.

When the screen changes

The startup animation accompanies connecting to your desktop. An update screen means maintenance is in progress; let it finish and reload the workspace. A shutdown screen has a different meaning: check its reason and available restart controls. Server power explains emergency restarts, holidays and administrative shutdowns.
